War and disease have wrecked the world. Those remaining are on the move: from cities that don't exist, to newly vacated real estate, in search of loved ones. Like birds, some are migrating south to warmer weather. Some are getting away from places with too many bad memories. Some are looking for people to victimize.
“What would you do?” is the essential post-apocalyptic question that intrigues me about the genre. I would be mobile, looking for allies, supplies and a stronghold.
